Position
The "go too" with logo’s is to place them ‘bang’ in the middle and as big as possible. Consider how the table is viewed in the space, perhaps off setting the logo or text will enhance the visual impact, maybe mirroring the logo will give the visablity from multiple directions.

Orientation
Logo orientation is generally determined by the logo itself. Most shapes will work best in either landscape OR portrait only. Symmetrical shapes will work in either orientation, so the choice will be yours in that case.

Artwork Type and Formats
Vector
Vector images are constructed with lines (known as paths). They are scalable to any size without losing its sharp, crisp edges. Any corporate or business logo should be created using this format.
Common vector file types are .eps, .ai, .svg, .cdr and .pdf (vector type).
For best results all vector images are usable.

Raster
Raster images are constructed using dots (known as pixels). All your photos, and images found on the internet are created using this format. Raster images are great as long as the pixel count is big enough.

For best results with raster images should be a minimum 300dpi – 2000×2000 pixel count.
